When I see a patient that I thin k would benefit from this ointment, I call
their OB or CNM and ask them to call it into the pharmacy as an RX. Most RX
cards cover it. That was I as an LC am not prescribing medication.
I think this is the safest way to do it.
I am in process of writing a standardized letter of the ingredients and how
to use it and have the doctors and CNM that prescribes it sign it and I am
going to send that tot he local pharmacies to aid in ease of getting the rx
filled, this way the doctor can call in an order for APNO and have to list
all of the ingredients each time.........
