Hi, my name is Ann-Stewart Nichols, I am a student at Duke University in John
Younger's archeology class. We are working on a project, and
I've chosen to study pre-modern history of the Circus (nomadic
entertainers). Keywords: acrobats, jugglers, freaks
(transgendered people, etc), gypsies, trapeze artists,
magicians and impressionists. If anyone has any research on
any of these topics, or knows of a web page that has info on
this, or articles, I would love to know. Thanks!
