I heard Leslie Howard perform a Lassen-transcription (Polonaise and March)
by Liszt. Many leaps and octave passages. It was a fantastic orchedtral
imitation and exhasuting both for the pianist and the audience. Actually
I didn't think it was possible to perform such a piece live without making
a mess of it....It lasted for about ten minutes.
