Jonathan Knapp, concerning the Blomstedt recording on London.

>Aside from a few forgivable sins committed by the soprano soloist,
>I think this performance is virtually flawless.

In some perfomances the soprano is unforgivably blowsy or worse and,
for years I have been trying to identify a recording I heard on the
radio where the "Dolcissime" at the end was meltingly lovely, gentle,
and indeed dolce. Any nominations for a performance matching that
description?
