[Lee Cranmer]  Greetings fellow list members:
        I was asked by an architectural historian in our office when
standard pipe threads came into use.  I've checked my immediately available
sources and found nothing.  Would anyone out there know this answer or where
we could find the information?  Thanks in advance.
