DP Horn asks about Ives's Third Symphony, "Camp Meeting":

It's safe to say that I know *none* of the tunes Ives quotes in that
symphony, and to me it's wonderful. Thus, I must be responding to
something else "purely musical." Ives symphonies from most to least
favorite: 3 (or 4), 4 (or 3), 2, 1.
