Very good points well made...Sometimes it was only the jazz that redeemed
some lesser Art House movies...but...

Surely you didn't mean to overlook the contribution made by the scholarly
but brilliant MJQ in such oevres as "No Sun In Venice", etc.

I spend most of my vacation time in France and I am often struck by the
size of the jazz audience there compared to most other European countries,
although I wouldn't care to say why.
