Dear Lactnetters:
First, I passed the exam and got to write "IBCLC" after my name for the first
time the other day. I felt like I had a private little celebration.
Second, on a more business note: the breastfeeding action team I am on is
looking for a quick reference guide to offer our peds/family practice docs
when they need to provide support to a breastfeeding couplet. Personally, I
feel if they employed an IBCLC in the office it would help but for now we
will have to settle for some sort of printed material. I had thought of K.
Auerbauch/J. Riordan's pocket guide but can't seem to find my copy. Any other
thoughts. Remember, it has to be simple and easy.
Thanks so much, Suzanne Bowes RN, IBCLC (yippee)!
