I think that what George is talking about is mixing in every other comb of
foundation among drawn combs. Unless there is a very good flow going on,
this is truly a recipe for disaster. But if the foundation is grouped on
one side, the drawn comb on the other, then usually it will be OK. The
bees will first use the drawn comb, and as the cluster expands they will
move over to draw the foundation, frame by frame.
