And commissioner, IIRC. But you omit one of the most important aspects
of this recording - it is conducted by Anton Webern, who was scheduled to
conduct the premiere in Barcelona, but who was so affected by Berg's death
that he withdrew at < 24 hours notice and the performance was taken over by
Hermann Scherchen.
