Very little 20th century guitar music is easy for the performer because
much of it is written by composers with no good idea how the instrument
works (Rodrigo wrote his guitar scores @ the piano, for eg).  Most of the
scores commissioned by Julian Bream features the words _ed.  Bream_ in
small print somewhere; as the master guitarist has often had to rearrange
the scores to make them playable.  One particularly difficult score is
Searle's 5; but the extracts i've heard suggest that in this case, @ least,
the finger torture might actually be worth it....
