Yes, I own it. Its a very remarkable recording of very remarkable and
challenging works. Perfect interpretations and perfect sound. This is
maybe the centre of Berios work, as a couple of his larger compositions are
based on some of the sequenzas. This will become a 20th century classic,
if it is it not already one. Highly recommended (no easy stuff!!!).

I also have that one. Certainly Messiaens largest work (some 4 hours)
and a nice sum of his creative output and style. Great performance,
great soloists and few coughs (its a live recording). If you like the
*catalogue* you will be happy to find many birds here too, presented by the
percussion, glockenspiel and vibraphones. Interestingly the piano has not
such a dominant role here as usually in Messiaens later works. A nice
work, but maybe a bit long ...
