Not only can I say them, but I also play them frequently as I do Mozart's
quartets and trios. I don't see any big advantage of one over the other.
Both composers wrote great chamber music.
Have you noticed the relative lack of new recordings over the past two
years Or so of their string quartets on period instruments? What's going
on?
