Certainly that has been something I've seen too in ARG, but there are also
several reviewers there (John Barker comes to mind) who in fact regularly
do HIP recordings--or perhaps more accurately, specialize in early music,
which can include both HIP and more traditional performances. As long as
Vroon leaves them alone to do their work, then I can tolerate (i.e.,
discount) the bomb-throwing reviewers he also sometimes slips in.
As for Vroon himself, I've long since turned him off:-0.
