Kyle Gann, in a 1997 book on American music, says that the original
instruments are in the Smithsonian, that there are some reproductions,
and that there have been a number of recent concerts given by students
of Partch. John Warthen Struble, in a 1995 book, placed the instruments
at UC San Diego. You might inquire at both places.
