Have purchased many of this series, being a devotee of "obscure" piano
literature. My favorites are (in no particular order): Scharwenka #4-
brilliantly played by S. Hough, Henselt, Medtner #2, Moszkowski, Paderewski
(though better played by Earl Wild), and Bortkiewicz - if you like that sort
of thing, and I DO! The Mendelssohn Concerti, though not exactly obscure,
are very well played, again by Mr. Hough. Several others are IMO, less
successful, incl. the Tovey, Huss, Dreyschock, Parry, and Stanford.
