I don't know any of the works on this CD, but I do have a very strong
memory of Anthony Marwood giving the premiere of her violin concerto in
Glasgow's City Halls with the Scottish Chamber Orchestra five years or so
ago.  As far as I know the piece hasn't been taken up elsewhere, but it's
certainly strong enough.  Beamish is not yet very well known, but she is
one to watch.
