Perhaps the most satisfying recent recording is that of the Takacs Quartet,
on London/Decca.

Also, one of the Juilliard Quartet sets (the third of four?) is available
on a Sony budget label; these are, of course, far more aggressive
performances than those by most of the younger groups, another perfectly
valid point of view and one with which many of us have grown up.
