I was just trying to be humble about it. Haydn's piano works greatly
impact his reputation with me, but most folks tend to prefer his
symphonies, string quartets, trumpet concerto, and a few choral works.
Leaving humility aside, I consider the piano works Haydn's greatest musical
accomplishment, and I like to believe that there will be a day when they
receive the merit I want them to receive.
