Oh, yes a great piece! I always think it has some kind of impressionist
touch, very beautyful and rich colours...maybe my favourite Suk! I have a
recording on Virgin Classics by Libor Pesek, but I would guess its already
deleted. There is/was a great series of 4 CDs on Virgin with orchestral
music by Suk (Asrael-Sym., Ripening and Praga, Summer-Tale and Epitaph),
if you find any of these somewhere...grap them!
There is also a recent recording of Summer-Tale on Decca with Mackerras and
several on the Tchech Supraphon-label. How is the Winter-Tale?
