Didn't the medieval priests use pop music in theirs motets and mass? Hadn't
the Renaissancist composers the "canzona da sonar" (adaptations of/from
pop songs)? Didn't Handel and thousand others compose sarabands, minuets
and other pop dances? Didn't Chopin compose mazurkas for the piano? And
Villa-Lobos? And Bela Bartok? Didn't they use the songs of theirs countries
in theirs musics? And the wonderful music of the Gershwin? And did Arvo
Part merge Vivaldi + Tango + Contemporanies Technics in his music "Tabula
Rasa"? Why don't I compose in heavy metal style for the symphonic
orchestra? There is two tribes against this thougths: the wax museum of
the music's conservative people and the serialists composers!!! The frogs
always croak all days!!!

Edson
