The only example I can think of is the cliche of opening a piece with music
that sounds like the orchestra tuning up. I can't remember where I first
heard this (a Del Tredici piece, maybe), but it's the kind of thing that's
amusing the first piece you hear it in and annoying all the times
afterwards.
