I recently obtained a new recording of Schumann's string quartets nos
1 and 3 as performed by the St.  Lawrence String Quartet for EMI.  Has
anybody else heard this recording? Any comments/criticisms, etc.? With
the exception of a rather "slick" and over-produced sound, I was impressed
with the dynamics.
