Alex Soteros appears to have misinterpreted the TV broadcast information
in the National Library of Canada's Glen Gould Chronology (see below):
>Contenu: Walton: Facade (Scotch Rhapsody, Old Sir Faulk)
>Hindemith: Das Marienleben (excerpts from 1st version)
>Bartok: String Quartet No. 4 (excerpts)
>Schoenberg: Piano Suite, opus 25
>Copland, Aaron: As It Fell Upon a Day
>Poulenc: Aubade (excerpts?)
>Interprete(s): Glenn Gould, Patricia Rideout (speaker), Roxolana Roslak
>(soprano), Orford String Quartet: Andrew Dawes, Kenneth Perkins (violins),
>Terence Helmer (viola), Marcel St-Cyr (cello), James Campbell (clarinet),
>Suzanne Shulman (flute), Boris Brott (conductor)
It seems clear that Gould played the Schoenberg piano suite. I can not hear
a piano part in my recording of the 2 excerpts - Nos. 18 & 20 - of Facade;
if there were one it would be Gould playing it as no other pianist is
listed, but I doubt that he participated in Facade.
