It has been eight years since he passed away.

I am not familiar with his performances/recordings, but I think he is
rather famous in Japan, because he was teaching Mozart piano works on a
Japanese TV program during late 1980s.  It is said to be that his teacher
included Arturo-Benedetti Michelangeli along with Vienna-based musicians.
