My parents are from Argentina, and I grow listening to "Misa Criolla" at
christmas time.  But I think it's not CM.  It's very well written and
arranged folklore, but folklore.

By the way, please don't call it "south american" mass.  Its music from
Argentina, that is very different from Brazi's, that is also a south
american country.

For another and very different experience with a "latin american" mass, I
would recomend Irakere's "Misa Negra" (The black mass).  It's an amazing
piece of cuban folklore, and of "afro-cuban" religion.
