I wouldn't have thought it possible, but John and I do appear to finally
agree on something - Lortie's Ravel recordings on Chandos.  From my
perspective, Lortie has Ravel's idiom on target and Chandos provides
a very favorable sound acoustic.

Perhaps this is the start between John and myself of a long string of
similar opinions.
