No, I don't believe King has recorded it.  The only Handel opera I'm aware
of that he's recorded is Ottone.  That would be a great area for him to dig
into.

I think that the only period instrument recordings of Xerses, also named
Serse, is a recent McGegan effort on Conifer and Malgoire on Sony.  It's
possible that Vox or Newport also recorded the opera.  Unlike Andreas, I
don't find the music at Handel's top level, but it's very good Handel.
McGegan gets my vote, but I found his soloists uneven.
