I do love Vivaldi a lot and my frame of reference always was I Musici.
There was a period in my life when I didn't listen to Vivaldi at all and
then I got totally *astonished* by Il Giardino Armonico.  I still enjoy
Felix Ayo & I Musici but the way Il Giardino Armonico played Vivaldi was
almost shocking to me and had me listen to the music as if I never heard
it before.  That feeling hasn't left me yet.
