Nimbus has just released a new recording of the Brahms clarinet sonatas
performed by Karl Leister; the disc also has the clarinet trio in A minor.
I already have Leister's version of the clarinet sonatas on Orfeo, and it's
my favorite. I don't have a problem getting the new disc as long as it
contains new insights of the works as opposed to a relative duplication.

Is anyone familiar with both Leister recordings, and which one do you
prefer?
