It really is.  I have enjoyed the particular CD you are talking about for
a long time.

I mentioned awhile ago that I think parts of the introduction to the
"Hebridean Symphony" are pure inspiration--try track 15 from 4'22" onward,
and the false conclusion of the horn solo at 7'00", where the underlying,
billowing strings sweep the final chord up into a suspension of *such*
beauty --an incredible evocation of the evening seascape.  But, alas the
rest of the symphony IMHO pales in comparison; but as a humble listener,
I'll take what I can get!

It's a good thing that 2nd-rate composer, (what's his name?), wrote the
Hebrides Overture.  Where would musical seascapes be without his original
model?
