Best clarinetists of today? Some excellent ones are Leister, Shifrin,
Sabine Meyer, Klocker, Puddy, Thea King, Emma Johnson, Stoltzman, Hacker,
and Neidich.  Leister is my favorite; there's a subtlety to his approach I
really go for.  And, subtlety is one feature my own clarinet playing sorely
lacks.
