WHOA!!!  George Szell died in 1970 and NEVER TOOK OVER THE NYP!  Such a
thing would be REAL news to Clevelanders, who assumed he was at the helm of
THEIR orchestra until his death.  And I'm not sure GS said that about the
NYP.  Source?
