Two of the Boccherini symphonies that are worth a gander are the one
he based on his incidental music to "La Casa del Diavolo" (interesing
harmonies from 1759) and a sinfonina concertante featuring a guitar in and
around several other solo instruments (little surprising, much pleasing).
Some of his other ones are entirely devoid of profile and personality, so
I think an advance hearing would be in order before spending money on them.
