I saw the post about the mother BF in the back seat while her husband drove.
Apparently they were in a car accident and killed. How tragic. It was
mentioned that carseats and seat belts are important for all car riders.
I can't help but wonder, however, if mother was buckled up and baby may have
been in a carseat. I saw a picture, I think it was put out by AAP or LLL or
both showing baby in the middle of the back seat in a carseat. Mother was
buckled up and sat on the side of baby. To nurse she simply leaned over and
nursed while baby was in the carseat.
It would be a win-win situation. Both would be buckled up, yet baby could
nurse. To switch sides mother would switch to the other side of baby's
carseat and buckle up again and lean over the other way.
