Maxim Vengarov has this as a favorite "lollipop" and has recorded it.
Extraordinary.  He did this at the London Proms a couple of years ago and
you can hear the audience gasp as he negotiates the difficulties section
by section.  Then the applause - enough energy to send up a space shuttle.
