POSITION AVAILABLE: PRINCIPAL INVESTIGATOR, HISTORY/ARCHITECTURE
Gray & Pape, Inc., has a position open for a Principal Investigator for History/Architecture in their Cincinnati, Ohio, office. An M.A. or M.S. in Historic Preservation, Architectural History, History or related field and experience in CRM project management is required. Experience in the Midwest is preferred. This person must be able to demonstrate ability to implement effective research and survey designs within constraints of project schedules and budgets. This person must have sufficient knowledge of architectural and cultural landscape resources to be able to evaluate them at the Phase I and II levels of investigation. This position also requires competent knowledge of the Section 106 review process. The ability to write clear, concise, and thorough CRM technical reports is essential, as is the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
This person will also be asked to assist in the preparation of proposals and in marketing. Communication skills and an ability to effectively supervise people are a must. Basic computer skills (i.e., word processing, database, and spreadsheet programs) are essential. Other skills that will be given serious consideration include preservation planning and architectural restoration/rehabilitation expertise.
