Well, I'll be happy to listen to anybody concerning this thread, especially
our friends at Stoke.  But I would highly appreciate that you provide
references.  If this is going to go beyond a mutual flagellation sesion
lets provide some references that will help us all out!  Otherwise this is
only an exercise in beating up people in the discipline that have better
things to do.  I think that the tone in this thread has been less than
collegial, with a major exception of George Miller. This isn't meant as a
flame or directed toward anyone in particular, merely that I think that
this should be a forum so that we can all learn something from each other.
This is a topic that I am very interested in and I would dearly love to get
some new references. ....and hey by the way, I dont think that this
precludes discussions of class struggle or attempting to find meaning in
the past.
