She was real, very wealthy, rented Carnegie Hall once a year for her
RECITAL, sent tickets to all her friends and had the roll checked to find
out who attended and who did not. Records were done by RCA Victor. Saw a
copy of the lp the other day in a record exchange store. One side is
Florence Foster Jenkins, the other something called "A Faust Travesty."
