Apart from the fact that Merriman had the wrong sort of voice for the
4th, and may not have had the range, I am grateful for the lack of this
recording.  For me she sinks the Das Lieds of van Beinum and Jochum (not
heard the S-I); can't stand that wobbly vibrato.
