Peter Varley wrote concerning Messiaen:
>The Concise Grove gives him more space than Sibelius, and six times
>as much space as Rubbra, which says more about their opinion than
>mere words could.
No space is devoted to me at all. What does that tell you?
Considering general popularity, I am surprised that Sibelius gets less
space than Messiaen. Concerning Rubbra, although I have more of his
recordings than of Messiaen, Rubbra is relatively obscure, so I would
expect that Messiaen's coverage is much greater.
