It would seem to me that Groves, and a few others, are really missing the
boat. Considering that they could produce CD Rom versions for under $5.,
practically every musician I know, as well as every library and school
would buy them if the price were reasonable - maybe in the vicinity of
$150. or so. They could offer yearly updates for $75. and a lot of us
would fall into that trap. I would love to have Schwann - classical and
other - available, preferably with historical data such as "out of print"
recordings, etc. I'll bet that stuff is available in someone's computer
somewhere.
