Yes and Yes, I think.  Warm, supple, impulsive performances, not too finely
detailed in recording but the string playing is exceptionally clean and
solid.  I'm at work and away from my CDs, but IIRC it's a Polish orchestra
-- or was that another Menuhin-led Virgin production? I think another
Virgin CD holds comparable performances of Nos.  38 and 39.
