There is a new CD on DG with Naeme Jaervi conducting some orchestral works
(among others the 1st symphony) by one Maximilian (?) Steinberg. I guess
these works were written in the first 2 decades of this century and that
Steinberg was Russian. Sombody knows more about this composer and his
music? Is this late romantic stuff (again I so as his symphony is dedicated
to Glazunov)?
