Well, after all the controversy over L'Archibudelli performing the Brahms
Sextets, I'm almost (but not quite) shy about telling you about my favorite
cd:  It's on Sony Classical (SK 66264) and the players are Charles Neidich,
Clarinet; Dennis Godburn, Basoon; William Purvis, Natural Horn; Vera Beths,
Violin; Linda Quan, Violin; Jurgen Kussmaul, Viola; Anner Bylsma,
Violoncello, and Marji Danilow, Double Bass.

It's Mozzafiato and L'Archibudelli all the way.  It's light, clean, lovely,
full of expressive qualities, and those players have skill to BURN.  Don't
know if this will sound just right to you, but it's certainly worth a few
listens to find out.
