Ian Crisp sent a great response to my queries. At the end of his post, he
added:

>I rarely read the BBC mag these days, so were his observations general
>ones about Messiaen or specifically about Turangalila?

Turnace's comments were part of what looks like a new section in BBC
Magazine called: "If I'd only written that. . ." Turnace's and Panufnik's
comments were short. They were two of several other composers who
commented.
