Look at the website for the University of Arkansas' Centre for Advanced
Spatial Technology http://www.cast.uark.edu/index_main.html
and Boston University's Center for Remote Sensing, which is allied with the
anthropology and archaeology depts
http://crs-www.bu.edu/Welcome/Welcome.html
Both are actively engaged in researching the applications of various remote
sensing methods in archaeology.
Good Luck,
heather
