I don't think my friend Tony reads this list but I'd like like to point out
in his defence that he has never been a DG sound engineer. The last twenty
21 years that I have known him (since 1978 at Enigma Records with John
Boyden) he has been totally independent and freelance (yes, he sometimes
does jobs for the majors but has never been an employee).
I am not at all sure he ever sued DG either! As I recall, with some
amusement (I was at Philips Classics at the time), he wrote at length,
and published, an article dismissing 4D recording as purely a marketing
gimmick.
