I recently got hold of a two disc set of the Partitas played on clavichord
by Richard Troeger (Lyrichord LEMS 8038). This was the first disc in some
time I was reviewing, so I listened to it several times in the first two or
three days.

Having got used to these being played on piano, listening to them on
clavichord (this is the premiere recording on the instrument, BTW) was
a revelation. I'm still not certain whether or not I prefer them on
clavichord, but I strongly recommend this release to any Bach devotee.
It is REALLY worth spending time with.
