For years I'd heard of the often bizarre Cannes Film Festival.  Do they
have a music festival there too?

 This appears to be an music industry marketing association of some
 sort.  They apparently have awards too.  BIS was the "Winner of the
 Best Label Midem Award in Cannes 1998" for what it's worth.  Their web
 site is not very illuminating.  -Dave]
